Sweet Potato Dog Treats

Easy 2-ingredients Homemade Dog Treats made from sweet potato baby food and whole wheat flour!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2 4- ounce jars pureed sweet potato baby food

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 Degrees Fahrenheit. 
  • In a medium bowl, mix together whole wheat flour and pureed sweet potato baby food.
    PRO-TIP: You may need to add a little water, but no more than a tbsp, to form a ball. 
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to ¼ inch thickness and cut with a cookie cutter. 
  • Place on a greased baking sheet and lay in a single layer on the pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes. 
  • Let cool completely before serving.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight bag or container for 5-7 days. For longer storage, keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks
  • Best to make these in small batches because they might mold quicker than other dog treats
  • Always consult your veterinarian before giving your dog new foods.
