HOW TO MAKE AIR FRYER SWEET POTATO FRIES

Air Fryer Sweet Potatoes are so quick and easy to make simply by cutting, coating, and cooking your wedges in an air fryer. They are a healthy alternative to traditional french fries and are a delicious side dish or snack to serve with your favorite sauce.

  1. Prepare The Potato: Cut the sweet potato in half and then each half into 4 equal wedges for a total of 8.
  2. Season: Whisk together the spices and sprinkle over the sweet potato wedges. Top with oil and toss to coat.
  3. Cook: Cook at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, flip, and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until crispy.
Pro Tip: Make sure to preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees before cooking.
  4. Serve: Garnish with parsley if desired and serve immediately with your favorite sauces or dips. Enjoy!

Tips

  • Be very careful when cutting sweet potatoes! Use a sharp knife and a non-slip cutting board.
  • Dry your sweet potatoes with a paper towel before adding the spices and oil to prevent soggy wedges.
  • All air fryers are different. I used the Cosori Air fryer for this recipe. You may have to adjust time and temperature if you have a different model.
  • Do not overcrowd your air fryer. If the basket is too crowded, the fries will not get the crispy texture you crave. If you have a small air fryer, simply cook in two batches.

STORAGE TIPS

  • To Store: Leftovers can be stored for 2-3 days in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.
  • To Freeze: Do not freeze cooked sweet potato fries.
  • To Reheat: For the best results, reheat sweet potato french fries in the air fryer for 5 – 10 minutes unity warm and crispy. You can also microwave them, however they will not be as crispy.
